Its all about the Oxblood Nails

Oxblood is the color of fall! It is the color you will wear on your nails, something you can never go wrong with! I find that no matter what skin tone you have, oxblood goes with every one. That is probably why I love it so much! I have already purchased oxblood lipstick, nail polish and clothing item. But lets stick to the beauty/ nail essentials. Of course there are always different tones of oxblood which you will see on the nail polish collection below.

Now I found this picture including the name on the eleventh gorgeous website. If you are a nail polish freak like me, you definitely have to check out their blog as well!

Though I have to admit the color I have been re-applying on and on again during the fall is "Malaga Wine" by OPI which tends to go a little more on the red/wine side like the name says. Another favorite of mine has been "Wicked" by Essie, if I feel like going towards a very dark color, but not yet black.

Oxblood Lips

The Oxblood lip color might be a problem for some people as it is a very daring color. Very dark and attracting the eyes immediately to your lips which means it would go best with a simple nude eye look. (Just saying)
Now, I found three lipsticks which I find perfect for the oxblood trend:

1. Nars- Vendanges ($24)

2. Yves Saint Laurent- 12' Forbidden Burgundy ($34)

3. Topshop- Beguiled ($15)
(which I personally own and absolutely adore!)

The great thing with all these burgundy/ oxblood colored lipsticks are that you can always decide the density of the color yourself. You can either tap a little on your lips and smudge it out with your fingers to give that touch of oxblood or you can gradually build it up to a full oxblood lip which I have been enjoying a lot during nights out, and received many compliments on. Have to admit, I was a little frightened to start off with red lipstick but once i got over that fear, I do not mind oxblood at all. In fact, I enjoy oxblood lips more than red lips! And if you are still unsure about the oxblood lip, you can always go for a cheap alternative. I know that Kate Moss has recently released a new lipstick range with Rimmel London. I believe the color 107 is a great burgundy/ oxblood color which many people have been raving about, and you will not have to spend a fortune on something you are not yet comfortable with.

Below you can see a couple more oxblood beauty products which you might enjoy exploring and using. Ranges from OPI, Estée Lauder, NARS, Sleek Makeup, Revlon, Giorgio Armani, Lancôme etc.

Leather Essentials

The Leather trend has been going on during the Summer time and follows into the Fall and Winter season. Celebrities have been rocking it and so can we! Leather is one essential item every girl needs in her closet. It works with anything no matter what look you are going for; classy, rock n' roll, casual, you name it. But make sure you do not over exaggerate. One leather item per look can already been enough. Like a skirt, shorts, jacket, or a vest like shown on the picture below. So grab your wallet and explore the leather world and be surprised by how much it can affect your look!

If you are still a little bit shy when it comes to leather, start off with maybe a shirt like the one below where only the sleeves are leather. And no one says you have to pay a fortune for your leather look as its a seasonal essential and you might not enjoy it any longer next season or year! Faux-leather works just as fine and no one really notices the difference: it all matters about the look and that you feel comfortable in it. But if you are the kind of person who enjoys leather in every matter, do not hesitate either to spend those extra coins on a good leather jacket for example as those will always be in trend and since they are real leather, they will last you a lifetime!

As Ashley Olsen is rocking this leather skirt, so can you. A rather dark look which will look amazing during the fall time, especially with the tights. If you are not a black and white person, you can always add a bit of color by adding a oxblood colored scarf or some statement pieces of jewelry's, as these are in trend now as well!

Background- getting to know me

Recently, I have stepped out of my comfort zone. Left everything that I knew, friends, family. Just life. I moved from Europe to England. Means new people, new experience, new love life, new friends. Wow...
I am a young woman, wanting to experience life to its fullest potential. I have been blessed with amazing parents who have given me the opportunity to visit different countries from early age on. Therefore I have created this great passion for traveling, hence studying journalism to experience every country in its own matter.
To be honest, I am not really involved in anything political like you would usually expect from a journalist. My passion is fashion and beauty. I am loving the fashion that London, New York, Prague, Milan, Paris etc offer us. But I have to admit that I am still in the process of finding my own style which is why I have created this blog. To dip my nose into this industry a little more and see what attracts me the most.
I am looking forward to sharing my new life experiences and the fashion world I am now discovering, with you.
